SPICe+ Part A — Reserve Name

Reserve your new company's name in Goa through SPICe+ Part A — the integrated MCA route — with up to two name options checked against company and trademark records, ready to flow straight into incorporation via Part B.

Overview

SPICe+ Part A — Reserve Name, handled end to end.

For a new company, the name is reserved through Part A of the SPICe+ form. You propose up to two names with their significance and main objects, pay the prescribed fee, and the Central Registration Centre approves or rejects. An approved name is held for 20 days to complete incorporation.

Part A can be filed on its own to secure a name early, or together with Part B to incorporate in one go — with the linked AGILE-PRO-S covering GST, EPFO, ESIC, bank account and more. We check availability thoroughly to avoid rejection and take you from name to a fully incorporated company, as part of our setup service.

Frequently asked questions

SPICe+ Part A — Reserve Name, answered.

What is SPICe+ Part A?

SPICe+ Part A is the name-reservation portion of the integrated SPICe+ incorporation form, used to reserve the name for a new company. You propose up to two names with their significance and the company's main objects, and the Central Registration Centre approves one if it is available and compliant.

How many names can I propose?

You can propose up to two names in order of preference in Part A. If both are rejected, you can resubmit with fresh names, subject to paying the fee again. We check availability carefully beforehand to improve the chance of first-time approval.

How long is the reserved name valid?

For a new company, an approved name reserved through SPICe+ Part A is generally valid for 20 days, within which the incorporation must be completed through Part B. We move promptly to incorporation so the reservation is not lost.

Can I reserve the name without incorporating immediately?

Yes. You can file Part A on its own to secure the name first, then file Part B later for incorporation, or file both together. We advise which suits you based on how ready your documents and details are.

What does Part B include?

Part B handles the actual incorporation along with linked services through AGILE-PRO-S — PAN, TAN, GST registration, EPFO and ESIC registration, a bank account and, where applicable, professional tax. It turns the reserved name into a fully registered, operational company. We complete the whole flow.

What if my proposed name is rejected?

If a proposed name is rejected, typically for similarity or non-compliance with naming rules, you can resubmit with fresh names. We frame compliant, distinctive names and justifications to minimise rejection and the cost of refiling.
