Overview
Every individual who holds a Director Identification Number (DIN) on 31 March must complete DIR-3 KYC with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs each financial year. Miss it and the MCA deactivates the DIN, blocking every filing that director can sign.
We verify your unique mobile number and email by OTP, prepare the correct form — the full e-Form DIR-3 KYC or the simpler DIR-3 KYC Web — get it digitally signed and certified, and file it on time. If a DIN has already lapsed, we also handle DIN reactivation.

Anyone who held a DIN on 31 March of a financial year must file by 30 September of the next financial year. This applies even if the DIN is not currently used for any company or LLP.
The full e-Form DIR-3 KYC is filed the first time, or whenever your mobile, email or other details change. If you filed once before and nothing has changed, you can complete the simpler DIR-3 KYC Web verification instead.
The MCA marks the DIN as deactivated for non-filing of DIR-3 KYC and a late fee of ₹5,000 applies. The DIN stays deactivated until the pending KYC is filed with that fee, so no filing can be signed in the meantime.
Typically your PAN, Aadhaar or passport, proof of address, a personal mobile number and email for OTP, and a valid Digital Signature Certificate. Foreign nationals provide a passport and apostilled or notarised documents as applicable.
Yes, the e-Form DIR-3 KYC must be digitally signed with your DSC and certified by a practising professional. We help you obtain or renew the DSC if you do not already have a valid one.
