Overview
Incorporating a company and changing it afterwards both run on a set of specific MCA web forms. A new company reserves its name through SPICe+ Part A and incorporates through Part B; an existing company changes its name through RUN; and a string of INC and MR forms handle office, conversion, OPC and management changes.
Each form has its own purpose, documents and deadline, and using the wrong one causes rejections and delays. Frequently asked questions
For a new company, the name is reserved through Part A of the SPICe+ form, while an existing company changes its name through the RUN web service. Both reserve a name with the MCA, but they apply at different stages, and we use the correct one for your situation.
SPICe+ is the integrated incorporation web form — Part A reserves the name and Part B handles incorporation along with PAN, TAN, GST, EPFO, ESIC and bank-account services through the linked AGILE-PRO-S form. It is the single-window route to register a new company.
Different changes use different forms — INC-22 for the registered office, INC-27 for converting the company's class, INC-4 for OPC member or nominee changes, MR-1 for appointing a managing or whole-time director or manager, and others such as DIR-12 for directors. We file the right one for each change.

Yes. In SPICe+, Part A (name) and Part B (incorporation) can be filed together in one go, or Part A can be filed first to secure the name and Part B later. We advise the best approach based on how settled your name and documents are.
Name reservation through SPICe+ Part A or RUN does not require a DSC, but incorporation and most change forms do require the digital signatures of the directors or authorised signatories. We arrange the DSCs and complete the filings.
